How your gift works

• $20 minimum.
• Matched 1:1. Gifts from $20 up to $50 are matched 1:1 for Lake Tahoe environmental charities.
• At least 95% goes to the Steward you pick. The other 5% is our fee.
• Cover the fee, and 100% goes to the Steward. The "cover the 5% fee" box is checked by default. Uncheck it if you like.
• No card fee on Steward gifts. The 1.5% card fee doesn't apply here.

Clean Up the Lake

Incline Village. Volunteer scuba and conservation dive teams that clean up the lake bottom and survey for invasive species.

Sugar Pine Foundation

South Lake Tahoe. Restores sugar and white pine forests across the Tahoe region through planting, field stewardship and education.

Pacific Crest Trail Association

Sacramento. Looks after the Pacific Crest Trail, with Tahoe Trail Skills College and Northern Sierra trail programs for volunteers.

Tahoe Rim Trail Association

Stateline. The Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA) is a nonprofit organization powered by a dedicated community of volunteers, members, and partners committed to preserving and enhancing the Tahoe Rim Trail system.

Where the money goes

• Gifts are held in accounts kept for charitable funds, separate from our operating money, with a record of what each Steward is owed.
• Outdoor Angels is a Nevada Benefit Corporation.
